To our dear Friends,
Christmas time is one of my favorite times of the year, a holiday with tree decorating and our house filled family, friends and sharing food. I look forward to spending time and traditions with my loved ones. But for many of the homeless men, women and children, single moms and less fortunate people we serve, its just the opposite. The holidays can be more stressful, difficult, lonely and depressing.
Here is the good news! Thanks to you our sponsors, volunteers and donors of resources we are able to share the love of Christ and fulfill our Food For Friends mission to provide hands on opportunities of hope and food to those in need. And in that process we provide serving experiences to volunteers that are enriching to their hearts, while feeding the stomachs and ultimately the souls of those we serve.
I can’t think of a better way to spend some time this holiday season than to come along side other volunteers and bring tidings of peace, joy and love to those with less. I hope and encourage you to consider coming out and serving with us, and see how God works in you this Christmas season. Come Join us “Pay It Forward, Get Connected and Give Hope” to those in need.
