November 21, 2020 Event Recap: H.E.L.P.S. Ministry

On Saturday, November 21, 2020 a Thanksgiving turkey and Blue Bag distribution event was held for H.E.L.P.S. Ministry in St. Charles. On Saturday, Nov. 21 Food For Friends provided 25 families in St. Charles community a Thanksgiving Turkey and Blue Bag.

The Blue bags were assembled in advance by the Chicago Rugby Club and distributed by H.E.L.P.S. ministry. These bags contained a frozen turkey, box stuffing, canned vegetables, boxed mashed potatoes, gravy, cake mix, cranberry sauce, yams and Kool-Aid mix.  All the items to make a wonderful Thanksgiving Meal.  

Angelo from H.E.L.P.S. delivers a turkey and a Food For Friends Blue Bag

The Blue Bags were personally delivered by Angelo from H.E.L.P.S Ministry to families in need in the community.   

The H.E.L.P.S Ministry is a chapel, food pantry and shelter that serves St. Charles and Elgin providing food and clothing to those in need.
