Friday, December 10, 2021, Food for Friends provided a holiday meal to the Fellowship Housing families for a Christmas celebration.
The meal was catered by Lee ‘n Eddies. Dan Veles delivered and set up the buffet table. The meal consisted of glazed ham, au gratin potatoes, almondine green beans, chicken tenders , Mac & cheese, buttery corn, dinner rolls and cake. The families were very happy and so grateful for the holiday meal.
As the moms and children approached the buffet table, they were greeted and served by a couple of cheerful volunteers.
A number of activities were available to the families. A surprised visit from Mr. & Mrs. Clause brighten the festivities. Mr. Clause read a story to the children, it was a magical evening for sure.
